Hi guys. This is Chris, Monica's husband, with an update. The surgery went well. Monica's was done by 9:00am and her dad's was over by about 10;30. The donated kidney started working on Rod's operating table so that is great news! I left the hospital about an hour ago and Rod was still in recovery. I was able to spend a couple of hours with Monica but she wasn't very good company, she couldn't stay awake. The docs say tomorrow will be kinda rough for her but after that she should recover pretty quickly with a full recovery in 3-4 weeks. Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers, they truly do help.
